Student housing in Berlin – Combine your life and German classes / study program in downtown Berlin

Getting settled in a new city is exciting and we want to give you all the support you need that you can focus on that fact. Finding a place to stay is an important part of that. At VICTORIA, we can offer you a variety of accommodations either on campus or close to it, but also in every other part of this exciting city of Berlin. We will do our best to make you feel at home right from the beginning!

The most popular options for student housing in Berlin

1. Housing on Campus

Live directly in the campus, under one roof with the university! Within walking distance: government district, Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate, Friedrichstraße, Gendarmenmarkt, Tiergarten and Gleisdreieck Park, the largest shopping mall in Berlin (“Mall of Berlin”), and much more. Very easy to reach by S-Bahn and U-Bahn. Small single rooms (approx. 8 sqm) and larger double rooms on the 4th and 5th floors of the campus share two fully equipped kitchen and dining room areas with shared refrigerators, private dish lockers, as well as WC and shared showers (gender separation).

2. Housing in the Academy Hostel Berlin

Academy Hostel Berlin is located just one subway stop, about 15 minutes’ walk from the school near Potsdamer Platz. Each room has private bathroom, TV, and a small private fridge. The comfortably sized shared kitchen with dining room and private dish lockers is located in the basement.

Directly opposite the hostel is a large, completely newly built sports and recreation park (Gleisdreieck), where free basketball, beach volleyball, table tennis and much more can be played and jogged and skated. World-famous Berlin Craft Beer brewery with bistro operation also nearby. Appealing, inexpensive hotels in the neighborhood – ideally suited for occasional family and friend visits!

3. Staying with a host family in Berlin

You want to get to know life in Berlin from the inside and keep in touch with Germany’s most exciting city even after your stay in Berlin? Our Berlin host families are hand-picked small families, couples, or singles with often years of hosting experience, who are interested in intercultural exchange and are available as mediators and supporters in Berlin’s big city life.

We are also happy to accommodate your wishes or any considerations you may have when arranging host families. We strive to find the perfect host family for you.
