Professur für International Management (m/w/d)

VICTORIA | Internationale Hochschule is an innovative, state-accredited private university based in Berlin and with a campus in Baden-Baden, which offers Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes in business and economics both in the traditional on-campus study programme and in the practice-integrated dual study programme. VICTORIA has set itself the task of ensuring a close link between theory and practice in the various study models.

The following position is to be filled as soon as possible: 

A professorship for International Management (f/m/d)

full-time or part-time at our Berlin campus.

In addition to the general business administration modules, you will also cover the areas of accounting, cost management and controlling at bachelor’s and master’s level both in English and German language.

• You will be able to provide practice-orientated teaching for international student groups, supervise student research projects with a predominantly quantitative research approach and contribute to face-to-face and hybrid teaching.
• You are prepared to support VICTORIA in its ongoing internationalisation, the expansion of our international network and in liaising with cooperating companies.

Requirements:

• According to § 100 BerlHG:
  – Completed university degree in a discipline relevant to the above-mentioned subject area
  – Qualified doctorate in a relevant subject area
  – Pedagogical aptitude, proven by sound experience in teaching in the subject area
  – At least five years of professional industry experience (including at least three years outside the tertiary education sector)
• Willingness to participate in research activities at VICTORIA
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, service orientation as well as organisational skills
• Enjoy interacting with young adults from all over the world. Hight level of enthusiasm when delivering lectures, seminars, and tutorials.
• Willingness to familiarise yourself with diverse and complex topics and to take on tasks in VICTORIA committees
• Very good German and very good English skills
